Meiko will present a total of 5 innovations - at the HOST Milan: Dishwashing machines, Eco chemicals and foodwaste systems

From 13 to 17 October, Milan will once again become an international hotspot for the global food services industry, with the HOST taking place. Meiko will present a total of 5 innovations in the areas of washing and food waste management in a prominent location in hall 7.

Why 5 innovations at once? We asked Jürgen Hund, CSO of the Meiko Group.
He explains that it’s extremely important, now especially: ‘We are focusing all our developments on our customers. The food services industry, for instance, is still under a great deal of pressure from all sides. Be it staff shortages, high costs or new policies on disposable dishes – our innovations offer solutions that meet these challenges.’

Meiko will announce 5 innovations as part of its #meikoinnovationweek. Solutions for take-away plastic dishes are in particularly high demand. How can they be cleaned hygienically and, above all, dried quickly? The new M-iClean hood type dishwashing machine with new QuickDry drying solves this no problem – and with this with low energy consumption.

But the new M-iClean PF-S is also rather impressive: a highly robust glass, utensil and dishwasher for tough jobs in the dishwashing area, durable with an excellent washing result. The rack features an integrated hold-down device to keep the washware in place. When needed, it’s folded down, and otherwise it can simply be raised. This ensures reliable hygiene even at high washing pressures.

Fantastic water and energy savings are possible with the new rack type dishwashing machine UPster® K. It fits in small dishwashing areas and ensures a comfortable indoor climate thanks to effective heat recovery without vents.

Under the Meiko Active® Eco label, the new eco-friendly chemical and hygiene products, such as detergents and rinse aids, ensure brilliant washing results.

The new ‘green loop’ is all about food waste management. With the new BioMaster® Flex, Meiko impressively shows what happens with organic waste – from food preparation all the way to energy recovery in a biogas plant.

‘All in all, a well-rounded offering for virtually every need within our industry,’ says Jürgen Hund. Still, he finds the enormous resource savings to be particularly noteworthy – water, energy and chemicals savings are immediately noticeable in the operating costs of the operators, providing true financial relief.
